RSSDI – NCG Partnership



RSSDI signed an MOU with NCG on March 28, 2024, to enable both organisations to collaborate in their respective initiatives.  As part of the MOU, both parties will collaborate and identify many common areas of interest to work which can benefit millions of lives.

RSSDI – NCG: Areas of Focus

Clinical Guidelines
RSSDI & NCG can exchange practices for the development of guidelines for diabetes/cancer care and management of complications - targeting the patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.

Co-morbidity Protocol
Develop clinical protocols for managing patients with co-morbidity (i.e., patients with diabetes and cancer)

Research
RSSDI and NCG can leverage mutual SOPs for research (incl. joint research programs)

Capacity Building/Training
RSSDI and NCG can develop common strategies for capacity building/training e.g., NCG virtual tumor board, RSSDI learning management system, and RSSDI accreditation model for training in diabetes

Patient Education
Exchange best practices in managing NCDs e.g., a common portal for health promotions/health education (common risk factors for diabetes and lifestyle-related cancers), and use of social/digital media

Digital Health
RSSDI can leverage learnings from NCG to develop its own Digital Health program (including joint data collaboration)
